Dimensional site survey: when should you order on-site measurements?

A paid site survey lets you shift responsibility for fitting the structures onto the contractor and reduces the risk of costly corrections during installation.

Every training hall is different, which is why we offer three models of cooperation. They differ in the scope of support and — just as importantly — in who is responsible for the accuracy of the dimensions. Choose the option that suits the size of your investment, your budget and the level of support you expect.

1. Quote based on the client's dimensions

This is the quickest and simplest option. You send us the dimensions of the hall and the scope of equipment — e.g. the area of floor mats, the length of wall mats or the planned size of the MMA cage or ring — and on that basis we prepare a quote and manufacture the ordered elements.

In this model, responsibility for the accuracy of the dimensions provided remains with the client. If our crew carries out the installation, we are responsible for installing the products correctly. However, we cannot take responsibility for the order matching the actual dimensions of the facility. On request, we prepare a design with dimensions — this is an additional paid service.

2. Online consultation on Zoom

We recommend this option for smaller investments and for upgrading existing halls. During an online consultation of about 30 minutes, the client shows us round the facility. We advise on the best solutions and explain how to take measurements correctly. We also point out elements that affect the design: recesses, wall-to-floor junctions, radiators and other technical obstacles. The consultation costs up to PLN 200 gross.

Once we receive the measurements, we prepare a design for approval and carry out manufacturing in line with the approved design. Responsibility for the accuracy of the dimensions sent still remains with the client.

3. Comprehensive site survey and design

This is the most professional form of cooperation. We recommend it for larger investments and for halls with more complex geometry. The site survey includes:

  • detailed on-site measurements
  • full technical documentation
  • a layout design for all the equipment
  • consultation on how the club operates
  • optimisation of the space for safety and profitability

In this option we take full responsibility for the measurements taken and for fitting all elements to the facility. If a problem results from our measurements or design, we cover all the costs of putting it right.

During the site survey we also share our experience in designing combat sports clubs. We advise on how to make the hall more functional, improve safety and plan suitable circulation routes. We also suggest how to use the space so that it serves more athletes and brings in higher revenue. Owners of larger clubs and investors planning to expand their facility will particularly appreciate this option.

Which option should you choose?

  • Do you have your dimensions ready and a simple case? Choose a quote based on your own measurements.
  • Are you upgrading a small hall or do you need advice? Book an online consultation on Zoom.
  • Are you building a new club, planning a premium zone or a larger, complex investment? Go for a comprehensive site survey — it gives you the greatest certainty, the best use of space and full responsibility on our side.
