History

From the mat to our own workshop

Krzysztof Klaczek - fighter

MMA Klatki (Cagerex) grew out of a simple need: there was no equipment that could survive a brutal collision with the reality of training. As a fighter, I cut my teeth on the mat and watched mass-produced gear from the market fall apart. Instead of waiting for better equipment, I decided to design it myself.

We started with single orders for local clubs. It quickly turned out that our uncompromising approach attracted the biggest players. Our structures began to appear at top events and academies, where there is no room for mistakes.

The real test was expanding abroad. When we started shipping our training zones to Europe, we knew that our engineering and attention to detail were a quality missing on the Old Continent. For example, perfectly tensioned mats without a single wrinkle.

Today we have over 400 projects in Poland and over 60 turnkey projects in Europe to our name, and until now many of our clients have come to us through referrals. We created the CAGEREX brand to also reach clients for whom the name MMA Klatki was too narrow or ambiguous. We are not an e-commerce shop selling small items, but a craft engineering workshop. We take responsibility from A to Z for making every panel and every mat fit your space perfectly.

“I know which parts of the equipment can wear out fastest and where to deliberately use the highest quality — where it determines safety, appearance and durability. For 20 years I trained in gyms in different countries, fought professionally in MMA and competed in BJJ. I bring this knowledge to the design of our equipment and training halls.”

We are going for more. We want to set standards across Europe and prove that Polish engineering and craft precision outclass mass production. We create spaces that make money.

From technical consultation to a finished training zone

Each stage has a clear purpose: to reduce the risk of errors, plan the space properly and deliver a structure that matches what was agreed.

  1. PHASE 01 / FROM ENQUIRY TO DESIGN

    Consultation, measurements and technical documentation

Before quoting, we agree the facility parameters and choose the measurement model. That choice determines who is responsible for the accuracy of the dimensions.

    • 01 / Technical consultationWe discuss the type of facility, the intended use of the equipment, the dimensions of the space, the budget and the expected completion date.
    • 02 / Choice of measurement modelA paid on-site dimensional survey or the client's own measurements. The model you choose determines who is responsible for the accuracy of the dimensions.
    • 03 / Design and documentationWe prepare the technical design and the scope of work. On request — a paid 3D visualisation.
  2. PHASE 02 / FROM QUOTE TO MANUFACTURING

    Technical quote and made-to-order manufacturing

Instead of an off-the-shelf price list — an offer prepared for the real scope of work, and manufacturing by a Polish company.

    • 04 / Technical quoteWe present an offer covering the scope of work, manufacturing, logistics, installation and the standard client branding area.
    • 05 / ManufacturingThe equipment is built to a specific order by a Polish company. Standard manufacturing time is around 7–9 weeks. On request, we can speed up manufacturing (at extra cost).
  3. PHASE 03 / DELIVERY AND AFTER-INSTALLATION CARE

    Delivery, installation and service

We close the project on site and stay in touch after handover.

    • 06 / Delivery and installationWe deliver the structure to site and install it according to the agreed scope. The client receives a finished training zone and the project documentation.
    • 07 / Service and supportAfter installation, we provide technical support, documentation and a warranty in line with the scope of the order.
Workshop

Engineering rigour in a Polish workshop

We offer ready-made cages and rings for self-installation. Our speciality, however, remains fitting training zones to a specific space. Full control over the process lets us guarantee uncompromising quality.

  • 3D design and dimensioning

Precise CAD drawings fitted to the centimetre to the surveyed hall.

  • Steel fabrication

Cutting and welding strong structural frames for dynamic loads.

  • Powder coating

A durable anti-corrosion coating resistant to impacts and sweat.

  • Upholstery and tensioning

An innovative floor mat tensioning system — the mat stays perfectly taut throughout its service life.

  • Quality control and logistics

Completeness checks and secure packing before the installation crew sets off.
